Bowe France has a new commercial chief. The French arm of German group Bowe brought in Stephane Eliasu this week as director of commercial operations, with a remit that also covers Belgium and Luxembourg. He arrives from Trans.eu, the transport digitalisation specialist.
A broad commercial brief
Eliasu’s job is to push commercial development across the group’s various activities. That spans the document logistics and mail-processing solutions of its Bowe Systec division, long the name of the French subsidiary, as well as the newer lines the group has built up. Earlier this decade Bowe restructured its expertise in intralogistics, process optimisation and AMR-based automation under the Bowe Intralogistics, Move and IQ banners.
Working with the sales engineering teams behind those units, he is expected to find fresh market openings and bring the group closer to its customers and partners.
Two decades in transport tech
He is not new to this world. Eliasu counts more than 20 years in commercial development, much of it around transport software. His track record runs through Wolters Kluwer’s transport activities, later folded into Alpega, then a spell at the young company Supervan, and since late 2023 the role of France manager for Trans.eu and its CargoOn platform.
Loic Busnel, managing director of Bowe in France, welcomed the mix of software, IT and commercial background, casting it as a fit for a group leaning into digital transformation and growth. The coming months will show how quickly that experience converts into new business across the three markets.
