Governance changes are underway at Stef: with Deputy CEO Marc Vettard having decided to retire, the cold chain logistics specialist has appointed Damien Chapotot as Operational CEO France and François Pinto as Operational CEO International. They currently serve as Deputy CEO of Stef Transport and Deputy Managing Director of Stef France, respectively. Reporting to Chairman and CEO Stanislas Lemor, both will assume their new roles in late April, following the group’s Annual General Meeting.

Damien Chapotot: Operational CEO France

Holding a Master’s degree from ISGIA business school, Damien Chapotot spent 20 years at XPO Logistics Europe, where he held various management positions, and has worked for Stef since 2017. He started as Transport Performance Director, then became Deputy Managing Director, followed by Deputy CEO of Stef Transport.

François Pinto: Operational CEO International

A graduate of IESE Business School and ESILOG, François Pinto has worked for the cold chain logistics provider for over 25 years. He began his career there in 1999 through the Graduate Program dedicated to future managers. After eight years in operational and commercial roles in France, he went on to become Managing Director of Stef Portugal, then Stef Iberia.

New Governance Model

“Our new governance model, structured around the Chairman-CEO and these two operational CEOs, aims to respond differently to the economic, geographic, and operational challenges of the group’s various markets and to support revenue growth trajectory,” explains the 3PL.

€5 Billion Milestone Achieved Early

This growth has been positive. While targeting this objective for 2026 under its 2021-2026 strategic plan, Stef ultimately reached the €5 billion revenue mark in 2025. Last year, the provider recorded cumulative revenue of just over €5.1 billion, up 6.6% (versus €4.8 billion in 2024).
