To further expand its scope, Socratiz has recruited Jérémie Galloo, who joins the consultancy as Partner with a mission to structure and develop its Transport expertise—a role he held for the past three years at Newton.Vaureal Consulting.

Rapid Growth at Socratiz

His arrival underscores the momentum at this challenger consultancy specializing in strategy, operations and supply chain, digital transformation, and change management. This follows Bruno Coste’s appointment as co-CEO in November, then the recent acquisition of Univers Retail, which has brought headcount beyond 50 employees.

Transport as Performance Lever

By strengthening its Transport capabilities, Socratiz confirms the importance of this domain as a determining lever for operational and economic performance, linked to customer satisfaction, resilience, and sustainability challenges. The objective is to become a reference player for designing and implementing Transport strategies across B2B, B2C, and omnichannel modes, for industrial and retail clients as well as logistics and transport service providers.

20 Years of Transport Experience

Jérémie Galloo brings nearly 20 years of transport experience, both in corporate roles at Lafarge then Danone, and more recently in consulting. His assignments have covered transport governance, digitalization, cost and service level optimization, and flow decarbonization—all challenges at the heart of sector transformations, particularly in digitalization, and evolving corporate expectations around omnichannel, traceability, and competitiveness.

Key Industry Challenges

Socratiz identifies additional challenges including the increasing complexity of shipper-carrier relationships against a backdrop of structural cost increases, difficulty translating decarbonization objectives into actions, and underutilization of transport data to support both operational and strategic decisions.
