Global logistics provider Geodis has announced an agreement to acquire the Malherbe Group and its 2,500 employees, pending regulatory approval and finalization in Q1 2026. Founded 60 years ago in Normandy and specializing in pallet distribution, this road transport and logistics company operates across 40 sites with a fleet of 1,300 tractors and some 3,500 trailers.

The Malherbe Group generated revenue of €680M in 2024 and has established itself as a major player in B2B distribution in France, operating for various sectors including mass retail, industry, and pharmaceutical distribution. “Geodis’s acquisition allows us to pool our expertise and pursue sustainable growth for all our employees,” says Guillaume de Surirey, CEO of Malherbe Group. “With this acquisition, Geodis solidifies its leadership in France,” adds Marie-Christine Lombard, Geodis CEO.
