Ceva Logistics has started testing two autonomous electric vehicles inside its Blue Hub platform in Singapore, using them to move pallets and bins between floors instead of diesel trucks. The 3PL is running the pilot with Zelostech, a local startup that builds what the industry calls RoboVans.
Inside the Blue Hub pilot
Blue Hub is a sizeable operation: 50,000 sqm spread across eight floors, already fitted with goods-to-person systems and AGVs. The RoboVans take on the vertical work. They shuttle pallets, bins and other stored goods between levels over the building’s existing ramps, a job that until now fell to diesel trucks. The units under trial are Zelostech’s Z10 model, designed to slot into a working warehouse without new infrastructure.
A CMA CGM connection
Zelostech was founded in 2021 and focuses squarely on RoboVans. It won a spot among the laureates of the CMA CGM Startup Awards 2025, the innovation contest run by Ceva’s parent company together with its ZeBox incubator. That award funded a proof of concept with CMA CGM. The Ceva deployment followed from there, turning a demo into a live operational test.
What the early numbers show
Ceva says the first readings point to annual savings of 4.6 metric tons of CO2, with efficiency gains on top from the automated transfers. Modest in isolation, but the site is one of many across the network. Whether the RoboVans move beyond a single building will depend on how those figures hold once a full operating cycle is behind them.
