Colis Privé has completed the acquisition of Paack Iberia and Paack France, closing a deal first flagged in late June. The purchase moves the Ceva Logistics last-mile subsidiary into Spain and Portugal and tightens its coverage across France.
Deal Rationale
Around 490 staff join Colis Privé, lifting its headcount to roughly 1,200. The company expects revenue above €550M in 2026. Buying both Paack entities hands it an operating base in Iberia straight away, rather than a slower build from scratch.
Automation in the Mix
Paack’s Spanish arm brings warehouse robotics experience. In 2022 it worked with Geek+ on a large autonomous mobile robot project at its Madrid facility. That capability fits a parcel operator trying to scale volumes without letting cost per drop climb.
Market Context
European last-mile parcel delivery keeps consolidating as operators chase density and cross-border reach. Colis Privé, part of the Ceva Logistics group, has built its network mainly in France. A second large market gives it more ground to spread fixed costs, at a point when e-commerce parcel volumes are still rising.
Scale and drop density decide margins in this business, and the Iberian foothold gives Colis Privé more of both.
