French 3PL BMV has connected its Hardis WMS to the order management layer of Shippingbo’s SaaS platform, widening the range of e-commerce services it can put in front of merchants across Europe.
What the Integration Does
With the two systems talking to each other, BMV’s e-commerce clients can steer orders, stock and shipments across every sales channel from one interface. The provider runs around fifteen warehouses in France and operates at European scale through its German arm, Barth Logistik, and its Dutch subsidiary, CTS Group. Group logistics director Frédéric Ahr said the goal is to support clients as their French and European operations evolve, without giving up the tailored service the business is built on.
Commercial Angle
The connector also trims the cost and lead time of plugging in new sales channels. Group commercial director Xavier De Conigliano framed it as a concrete sales lever: merchants already running Shippingbo can be onboarded more easily and handed logistics wired straight into their e-commerce flows. BMV follows Log’S, which bridged the same Hardis-to-Shippingbo path a few weeks earlier.
As more 3PLs standardise on shared WMS-to-OMS connectors, the real differentiator may move from the plumbing to the quality of service layered on top.
