FM Logistic Expands Bucharest Warehouse to 34,100 sqm with CTP

FM Logistic starts a 10,300 sqm extension at CTPark Bucharest with CTP, lifting capacity to 34,100 sqm by Q3 to serve pharma, cosmetics and e-commerce.

FM Logistic has broken ground on an extension to its Romanian site at Dragomirești Vale, just outside Bucharest, working again with developer and asset manager CTP. The 10,300 sqm addition will lift the operator’s footprint at CTPark Bucharest to 34,100 sqm by the third quarter.

Strategic Rationale

Demand is pulling the expansion. FM Logistic points to cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and e-commerce as the sectors driving the need for more space. “We are enlarging this site to support our partners and seize new market opportunities,” said Pénélope Laigo, managing director for FM Logistic Romania and South-East Europe. And this is only one step. The provider is already weighing further extensions at the same location, with Romanian media putting the additional potential at around 45,000 sqm.

A Long-Standing Partnership

CTP still holds land in the zone and knows the customer well. The Amsterdam-based real estate group acquired FM Logistic’s entire Romanian property portfolio in 2023, a sale-and-leaseback covering more than 100,000 sqm across Bucharest, Pitești and Timișoara. That history gives both sides a head start as the Bucharest park keeps growing.

For FM Logistic, the move deepens a Central European base that looks set to expand again before long.
