DHL Supply Chain keeps the French distribution of Aspégic and Kardégic running for their new owner. The 3PL will operate logistics for Substipharm, the biopharma group that acquired both brands from Sanofi at the end of 2025, from the same Saint-Loubès platform that previously served Sanofi.
Continuity From a Pharma-Specific Hub
The Gironde site spans just over 12,500 sqm and is dedicated to healthcare flows. DHL Supply Chain will run receiving, storage, order picking, shipping to pharmaceutical wholesalers and invoicing. Supply will come from a facility in Amilly (Loiret) sold by Sanofi last year to contract manufacturer Astrea Pharma. The setup gives Substipharm uninterrupted continuity on two heritage analgesic brands that French pharmacists and physicians have prescribed for decades for pain, fever and cardiovascular prevention.
Volume and Regulatory Scope
DHL Supply Chain says the operation will cover the whole of metropolitan France plus overseas departments, regions and territories, with full compliance on temperature-controlled transport and storage. Across the dozen SKUs in the two brand portfolios, the 3PL is sized to handle up to 30 million boxes per year.
The contract is a textbook example of pharma sites changing hands without breaking the cold-chain or audit trail. By keeping the same operator on the same warehouse, Substipharm avoids the validation cycles that usually follow a 3PL switch in regulated healthcare.
