Geodis subsidiaries since 1995, port logistics providers Sealogis, Sealogis Freight Forwarding, and XP Log will operate under their parent company’s brand alone by the end of June.
Major Port Logistics Ambition
With this identity unification, the SNCF Group’s transport and logistics subsidiary aims to assert its ambition to become a major player in port logistics in France. “This consolidation provides clients with complete visibility on port activities while strengthening operational synergies,” Geodis emphasizes.
Combined Resources
The three entities bring together more than 900 employees and over 150,000 sqm of warehousing in the ports of Le Havre, Marseille, and Antwerp—infrastructure that handles over 160,000 TEU annually.
End-to-End Port Hub Solutions
“By bringing Sealogis and XP Log under the single Geodis brand, the group offers port hub solutions in Le Havre, Marseille, and Antwerp providing the full range of services from international freight and port logistics to last-mile delivery, including secure warehousing solutions,” says Henri Le Gouis, Managing Director of International Freight Forwarding at Geodis.
