Primarily to serve its customer Candia, Jacky Perrenot has signed a long-term lease for a 30,000 m² warehouse in Lambres-Lez-Douai, about 40 km south of Lille.

Leased from Quebec-based investor La Caisse (formerly Ivanhoé Cambridge), the site will employ 40 people. Four of the building’s five units will be operated on behalf of Candia, with activity scheduled to start in April under a long-term contract with the dairy brand of the Sodiaal cooperative.

The fifth unit will be offered by Jacky Perrenot to other customers.

With the planned installation of a photovoltaic power plant, the building is targeting BREEAM Excellent certification, and the provider also plans to implement transport flows operated with electric trucks.

“This site perfectly illustrates the type of projects we want to develop: competitive, innovative, and deeply responsible,” says Philippe Givoine, President of Jacky Perrenot.

With this new warehouse, Jacky Perrenot will have around 500,000 m² of warehousing space in France.

The northern France logistics market continues to attract significant investment. Vinted Go recently signed for 23,350 sqm at Segro Park near Paris, while Sicaap is doubling capacity in Arras, also in the Hauts-de-France region.
