Through a partnership sealed with specialized software provider TransFollow, startup Qargo now enables its customers to create, issue, and sign electronic consignment notes (e-CMR) directly within its cloud-based TMS platform.

Eliminating Friction

“We wanted to eliminate the friction our customers encountered with manual document transfers and constant switching between systems,” explains Adriaan Coppens, Qargo’s CEO. “As a certified and recognized eCMR provider, particularly in the Benelux region where we originate, TransFollow was a natural choice to help us integrate this workflow directly into Qargo.”

Streamlined Operations

For the young company founded in 2020, this integration means smoother and optimized exchanges between shippers and carriers through reduced administrative tasks and enhanced document traceability.

EU Mandate Approaching

“The EU’s decision to make electronic freight documentation mandatory from 2027 under the eFTI (Electronic Freight Transport Information) regulation means that eCMR is no longer optional,” Qargo notes.
