German supply chain software vendor Infios has put a sharper point on its agentic AI plans, detailing three warehouse features that fold artificial intelligence directly into day-to-day execution. The move comes a month after the company laid out a broader AI roadmap for its supply chain execution suite.
What the new features do
The additions land inside Infios’ warehouse management portfolio. First, intelligent error resolution, which flags and helps fix exceptions as they surface. Second, a knowledge assistant that answers questions in plain language, pulling together a company’s own product documentation and operating procedures. Third, an operator coaching tool that reads team performance data and pushes personalised recommendations in real time.
The common thread is execution. Rather than bolting analytics onto the side, Infios is embedding decision support into the workflows operators already use on the floor.
From reacting to optimising
“With Infios AI, we embed intelligence directly into execution workflows,” said Richard Stewart, executive vice president for product and industry strategy. As conditions shift, he said, operations can analyse, recommend and increasingly act in real time, moving from firefighting problems to continuously tuning how work gets done.
It is a familiar pitch across the warehouse software market, where vendors are racing to attach generative and agentic AI to their core systems. The test for Infios will be whether these features cut errors and ramp-up time on live sites, not just in the demo.
