Founded in 1970 in the Moselle region of France, agricultural cooperative group Lorca has chosen to deploy three solutions from British telematics and fleet management software specialist Microlise. The objective: optimize its transport activity and strengthen real-time visibility in this area.

56 Vehicles, 1,700 Farmers, 80 Stores

Lorca operates a fleet of 56 vehicles while counting more than 1,700 member farmers. The group also operates a network of around 80 stores in the gardening and building materials sectors under various brands including Magasin Vert, Point Vert, and Gedimat Lorca.

Orchestrating Daily Operations

“We needed to better orchestrate our daily operations and streamline our information flow from the field,” explains Olivier Schwaller, Logistics Director at Lorca. “The goal was not to monitor, but to organize, anticipate, and simplify tasks that burden teams, at the intersection of performance, safety, and service quality challenges.”

Three-Solution Deployment

The group opted for Microlise solutions dedicated to driving performance monitoring (Driver Excellence), real-time route management and analysis (Journey Management), and paperless proof of delivery (Smart POD).

Through these tools, Lorca aims to improve operational management, simplify administrative tasks, speed up feedback and dispute reporting, and enhance its capacity to produce reports, particularly on CO₂ emissions.
