German intermodal operator Contargo (Rhenus Group) has acquired a stake in Cargo Center Graz Logistik (CCG), Austria’s leading container terminal operator located in Werndorf, south of Graz. This investment strengthens Contargo’s network in southeastern Europe.

CCG operates one of Austria’s largest intermodal terminals with connections to major European rail corridors including routes to Italian, German, and Eastern European ports. “This partnership enhances our ability to offer sustainable multimodal transport solutions connecting Central Europe with Mediterranean and Atlantic ports,” states Contargo.
