Japanese logistics provider Yusen Logistics, a subsidiary of NYK Line, has finalized the acquisition of Walden Health, a Kentucky-based 3PL specializing in healthcare logistics.

Through this transaction, Yusen Logistics adds over 400 employees, a fleet of 350 trailers, and 200,000 sqm of FDA-validated cGDP warehouse space across eight US states. “This acquisition will help establish Yusen Logistics as a global leader in healthcare supply chain, enabling us to serve clients in pharmaceutical, medical device, and diagnostic sectors with a truly global and specialized offering,” states Hiroyuki Ota, Yusen Logistics CEO.
