UvoTec has added the 2.0 version of the Destuff-it mobile unloading conveyor to its catalogue, extending a distribution partnership signed last year with US manufacturer Gorbel for France and the Benelux. Container unloading is being mechanised across a growing number of warehouses to lift throughput and ease the physical strain on operators, and the equipment range keeps evolving to match.
A Proven Machine
The Destuff-it started life at Canadian firm Engineered Lifting Systems, which Gorbel acquired in 2020. It has since become a best-seller, adopted by hundreds of logistics and industrial operators worldwide, among them some of the largest 3PLs.
What Changed in 2.0
The new version runs three conveyor belts, carries loads up to 75 kg, and reaches a throughput of 1,200 parcels per hour. Compactness stays central to the design, letting the unit work close to the container walls. Joystick control makes it easier to operate, with operators picking it up in a few minutes, and a new human-machine interface simplifies diagnostics during maintenance. Safety got attention too, through added sensors and reinforced lighting for working deep inside containers.
Two configurations are on offer. The DT100 prioritises a smaller footprint. The DT200 carries an operator platform that raises the worker to reach parcels stacked high in the container.
