French 3PL Log’S has been appointed by Céraclès Coopérative, the retail group behind the Sport 2000 and S2 Sneakers Specialist banners, to run the B2B logistics of both store networks. The contract has been live since early February and covers some 240 lowland Sport 2000 outlets plus around thirty S2 Sneakers Specialist shops.
Operational Details
Operations run from the Log’S warehouse in Saint-Didier-sur-Chalaronne, in the Ain department, a 25,000 sqm platform the 3PL took over with its acquisition of Viapost Logistique Connectée at the end of 2019. Roughly 11,300 sqm are now dedicated to the two banners. About thirty staff handle store replenishment, centralization of new collections and promotional campaign flows, supported by a mechanized conveyor, transport documentation tools and the Hardis WMS (formerly Reflex). Close to two million items a year will move through the site: apparel, footwear and accessories.
Strategic Rationale
Céraclès Coopérative is the name adopted in 2025 by the former Groupe Sport 2000, which counts more than 750 stores and €830M in revenue. Its Sprint 2030 plan targets a thousand stores and €1.3B in sales, with product availability and delivery reliability among the stated priorities. The 3PL says pooled transport flows, with orders grouped by destination zone, should cut logistics costs, reduce the number of delivery runs and lighten the administrative load carriers create for stores.
Whether the setup scales smoothly through peak commercial periods will be the real test, and the first holiday season under the new regime is only months away.
