Frédéric Zielinski has been appointed CEO of Fives Intralogistics, bringing to the smart automation segment of the French industrial engineering group a 20-year track record in the sector.

Previously Executive Vice President at Vanderlande for Europe and the Americas, he succeeds Philippe Berges, who led Fives Intralogistics and its 1,200 employees for the past four years. Having held management positions at Dematic, Intelligrated, and Savoye, the new CEO’s mission is “to continue developing comprehensive intralogistics solutions in the group’s historical markets,” explains Fives. This segment represents revenues of approximately €350M and encompasses the Syleps, CMC, and Fives Syleps brands, which have equipped major players such as Chronopost, Amazon, La Poste, and Fnac Darty.
