French consulting firm Socratiz has appointed Nicolas Lacouture as Partner, handing him the job of building out its organizational and human transformation practice. Socratiz advises Supply Chain and Retail clients on strategy, operations, digital transformation and change management. Lacouture arrives to turn the people side of those projects into a core part of the offer.
From IT Infrastructure to Executive Coaching
Lacouture brings close to three decades of management and transformation work across IT infrastructure environments. He held roles at HP, XPO and EuroMaster, then at Hardis, where he ran the Cloud Solutions business unit before heading strategic partnerships. In 2024 he changed tack, working as an independent coach and mental performance trainer while mentoring startups and senior executives. That blend of operational depth and coaching is what the firm wants to tap.
A Human-Centric Consulting Model
Inside Socratiz, his remit covers team accountability and maturity, and the integration of talent from companies the firm acquires as it grows. The consultancy is shifting toward a Teal-inspired model built on evolving purpose, wholeness and self-governance. For clients, Lacouture will develop an integrated offer that runs from HR and culture diagnostics through leadership development, field-level change management and learning-organization design.
His pitch to management teams is blunt. A transformation only holds, he argues, if the people carrying it can also go the distance. Whether that human dimension becomes the differentiator he describes will show up in how Socratiz’s next client mandates land.
