Already home to an innovation center in the Netherlands, Vanderlande has just inaugurated a second facility in Pune, India. Spanning nearly 8,000 square meters, this new installation allows the Dutch specialist in automated solutions for warehouses, parcel delivery, and airports to accelerate the development of new systems around robotics, physical-digital process integration, and artificial intelligence.

Hands-on engineering and faster development

The site will enable Vanderlande’s engineering teams to work on concrete applications, deepen their technical expertise, and contribute more rapidly to process automation for clients across intralogistics, parcel delivery, and airport sectors.

“Automation is no longer an option but a necessity for our clients,” says Astrid van Druten, Vanderlande’s Chief Financial Officer. “Our new site will play an essential role in creating smarter and more efficient solutions.”

Rebranding under Toyota Automated Logistics

These new solutions will soon be offered under the Toyota Automated Logistics brand. In early April, the intralogistics automation operations of Vanderlande, Viastore, and Bastian Solutions will be merged under this single brand by Toyota Industries Corporation, the parent company of all three entities.
