The ambitious target of €100 million in revenue—up from €86 million last year—is what Palais des Thés has set for 2026. The company, a specialist for 40 years in sourcing premium teas, now operates a network of 130 boutiques (owned and franchised). The Supply Chain transformation initiated in 2023 is contributing to its dynamic growth, and a new project began in November to deploy Infor Supply Chain Planning (SCP), with support from Aloer Consultants.

Optimizing Supply Flow Management

The challenge for Palais des Thés is to optimize the management of its supply flows to support commercial development. This project follows previous components of a complete overhaul of its IT and logistics infrastructure, specifically the implementation of a cloud-based Infor M3 ERP that has improved data management reliability, and a logistics operations review with Citwell at its eastern Paris region warehouse.

Organizational and Cultural Transformation

The organizational and cultural transformation now underway with Aloer in planning aims to better anticipate needs, ensure flow fluidity, ease operational constraints, and thus improve overall performance.

“Our priority is to implement a supply planning solution that simultaneously optimizes production and purchasing planning. We need to gain agility to respond to demand variations while maintaining our quality standards,” says Laurent Chaumont, Organization and IT Director at Palais des Thés.

Expected Benefits

New processes supported by Infor SCP should enable anticipation of supply delays and potential shortages, alerts that could impact capacity optimization, and product obsolescence risks.

“We’re also targeting significant improvement in budget, cost, and inventory coverage monitoring, and wanted clear visibility on constraints with the ability to compare different scenarios. This simulation capability will enable informed decisions and trade-offs between options based on context,” adds Teddy Vouillot, Demand & Supply Planning Manager.
