Téréva—one of France’s largest distributors of heating, sanitary, and plumbing equipment—has inaugurated its new 38,000 sqm logistics platform in Changé (Mayenne), near Laval.
Delivered by developer GSE after 15 months of construction, this site serves as central hub for Téréva’s B2B distribution (over 400 points of sale) and B2C (Brossette brand).
Designed to process up to 150,000 order lines daily, the platform features various automations: a 12,000-position mini-load system, 8 Exotec picking robots, and a sorting station with 150 exits.
The investment reflects the growing sophistication of B2B distribution logistics. For companies considering automation, understanding when a WMS upgrade is needed is often the critical first step—modern systems provide the foundation for robotics integration.
The scale of automation is remarkable: 150,000 order lines daily with just 8 robots demonstrates the productivity gains possible. Our guide to warehouse KPIs covers lines picked per hour and other metrics to benchmark operations.
